Mallard and Claret

The Mallard fly has a body of seal dubbing with and thereby its natural luster. The Mallard flies are very seductive and successful on all trout species. A fly that is popular throughout the world. The origin of the Mallard flies is largely unclear. A similar fly was tied around 1840 for fishing in Scottish Lochs.
